Call me a true blue Texan, but as a seasoned leader with a people-first philosophy, I believe that taking care of your people is the key to driving any business forward. With over a decade of experience in digital media, internal communications, and project management, I’ve built a career out of fostering collaboration, optimizing processes, and achieving measurable results.
In my most recent role as Principal and Sr. Strategist at RODEO Agency, I’ve partnered with Fortune 500 companies and enterprise-level organizations to design and execute communication strategies that align with their mission, vision, and core values. From creating communication cascades and content calendars to crafting executive briefings, I help leadership teams articulate their goals and engage their people.
Prior to RODEO, I led the Content Operations team at YouTube Music (via Cognizant), managing a 70-person team across 21 international markets. During my time there, I orchestrated a 7x team expansion, scaled workflows from 5 to 19, and introduced data-driven process improvements that contributed to YouTube Music becoming the fastest-growing streaming service in the world.
As a creative strategist, I’ve worked across multiple verticals—engineering, product management, operations, and marketing—always balancing quality with productivity. I’ve spearheaded corporate rebrands, achieving 40% revenue growth, and led internal marketing campaigns that drove consistent quarter-on-quarter sales growth of 20%-60%. Through my own entrepreneurial ventures, I’ve built scalable processes that enabled 200% year-over-year revenue growth.
But I’m more than my work. I’m the daughter of two Vietnamese refugees who taught me how to be resourceful, entrepreneurial, and deeply committed to honesty. Those values have shaped me into the tenacious and innovative person I am today.
Outside of consulting and strategy, I’m immersed in the music industry as the Founder of SoundSync Music. I’ve pitched and licensed thousands of songs by over 60 independent musicians to TV, film, games, and advertising, earning placements with major clients like HBO, Disney, and Amazon. I was honored to be named one of Austin’s 20 of 2020 for my contributions to the local creative community.
What inspires me most is the power of innovation and continuous improvement. As a public speaker, I’ve shared insights as a SXSW panelist, guest lecturer at St. Edward’s University, and workshop host with organizations like the Austin Music Foundation. Whether guiding teams, uplifting creatives, or challenging the status quo, I bring an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excellence to everything I do.
